Attendees

Highlights

  1. Like last year, we didn't attend the Celebrate Fairfax but were back for the Fall For Fairfax at the Fairfax Government Center. Instead of being inside like in past years, we were moved outside under a large tent. The weather was fine with the exception of a little rain at the end but there was sun in the morning and a cool breeze.
  2. Normally we build things ourselves and supervise the kids building but this year, since we had such a large area, we had a display and most folks kept watch over the display instead of building.
  3. One of the disadvantages of being outside was that we had no power and were unable to run our trains.
  4. Nate brought a futuristic police station with working elevator.
  5. Nick Kappatos brought the large red building. Not sure what LLFD means.
  6. Christina Hitchcock built a blue '70s retro Moonbase module (if there is such a thing).
  7. Ken Rice layed out a large wild west display.
  8. Marian Hardy provides several older sets. I belive the London bus ws one of them.
  9. Rich Shamus built a circus train.
  10. Magnus Lauglo came with a castle.
  11. Stephen Roberts built a party next to a spooky display. It was built on one of those new folding LEGO playsets.
  12. Fradel Gonzales had a small group of mecha next to a bunch of airplanes/spaceships.
  13. Joe Meno had a radio station and a small building with slanting skylights that are not attached but just fit perfectly.
