He showed his sig fig and two awards which are going to Briefest PDX. Also going are ten custom ships - named for special individuals. Also a tiny diorama using the package from a Star Wars mini set just to prove the piece could be used to build with (now you know why he's a Master Model Builder).
  2. Joe had an assortment of MOCs. A Viking Lander, a tiny Saturn V with gantry, planes, cars, the Batmobile, Pioneer, plus others.
  3. Jeff showed his impressive modular grey castle.
  4. Craig built several pieces of farm equipment. He continues with his kayak diorama.
  5. Mike had the start of an Opus mosaic. So far, he only has the head done.
  6. Magnus displayed his black castle keep.
  7. Greg had a Star Wars medical scene.
  8. Ian ran trains in the front of the room on an automated reversing track segment.

Highlights of the business meeting

  1. Aaron Sneary was voted an Honorary Member.
  2. Rich Schamus was voted back in as a returning member.
  3. Joe Meno was voted as a new member.
  4. After the meeting about 20 of us went out to dinner to celebrate Aaron's good fortune as being chosen as a LEGO Master Model Builder and to wish him farewell as he is leaving for California to pursue his boyhood dream. It was fun but sardines have more room than we did at the restaurant.
  5. Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2004.
