Highlights of the meeting
- John Barnes came with an awesome layout showing how you can create an N-Gauge train out of LEGO. The N-Gauge train and track is just about perfect for use with micro scale building. Look to John to produce a micro scale train layout standard like that of the moonbase or NVNTRAK.
- Mike Harrod started building his 24 48x48 baseplates mosaic of Bill the Cat. Currently it looks like a snow storm at night but I'm sure we'll see some changes as time progresses. Mike also had three cute penguins on display.
- Galen Fairbanks brought several Star Wars displays including two versions of the Jedi Council at coruscant, part of the Death Star, and some chamber that I can't remember at the moment.
- Kunie DeVorkin had part of the National Air and Space Museum that she is working on and was soliciting suggestions on how to build the roof.
- As usual, much building was going on.
- Judy Miller and Mike Collaco were building triangular patters. First in large scale and then a smaller version out of plates.
- Abe Friedman built a tiny clear winged building for no particular reason.
