Meeting at Kevin and Denise's House.

Highlights of the meeting:

  1. Jake McKee was in town and stopped by to visit. He gave us a briefing of some of the ideas that LEGO is thinking about with regards to reaching out to the community, i.e., us. We had a quite lengthy discussion about the relationship between us and LEGO and some ideas as to how LEGO might support the community.
  2. Kevin bar-b-que'd some hamburgers and hot dogs (yummy) while Denise acted as hostess.
  3. It was a small train layout with a few of Constantine and Tom's trains running. I don't know if anybody else was running trains. Kevin supplied all the buildings and the subway.
  4. In the business meeting, it was decided that Abe will cut down some of the existing plexiglass panels to create smaller panels that will be used on the inside of the layout to attach the inner skirts to the tables. Margaret will buy some velcro to attach the plexi to the skirts.
Constantine is looking into the cost of shirts and provided an update but nothing was decided.
It was decided that the SIG will continue to use the WamaLTC spelling. I personally think it looks a bit funny but for the most part everyone agreed that the WamaLTC logo/spelling is already in use and it would take an effort to change it. As you can see, I've started using the WamaLTC spelling and will eventually convert the rest of the site form WAMALTC to WamaLTC (as I have free time).
It was also voted that the ILTCO representatives for WamaLTC shall be Tom Cook and Constantine Hannaher. Contratulations!
  5. I left my camera in the car for most of the meeting so there are very few pictures. None of Jake — sorry Jake:-(
