Highlights of the play meeting
- Constantine puts stickers on six more containers for the container swap at BrickFest. Christiina cuts out the blue WamaLTC logos for the containers.
- Christina runs the alternate model of the high speed train that she built for the Baltimore LEGO Road Show next week.
- I built an insect of sorts. I'm experimenting on building giant ants for the Baltimore LEGO Road Show.
- Constantine took apart a bunch of old LEGO models he had in a bin. Tom digs throught it and finds rare models.
- Tom builds three train cars. After all, this is an LTC meeting. With Constantine and me digging throught a bin of LEGO that was dumped on the floor, Tom constructs two blue cars and a moonbase car (who said you can't have trains on the moon?)
- I was late to the meeting so there may have been more stuff that I missed. My car was rear ended in the Metro parking lot across the street. Nobody hurt. Damage was minimal. Such a pain.
Highlights of the business meeting
- Discussion about changing the BrickFest portion of our club car. I think we agreed to replace the BrickFest 2002 with a more generic sticker. I like the BrickFest 2002. I think it gives the car a bit of history. Mike suggests we build a new club car every year. Drives like a mad woman and derails the containers *grin*.
- Christina took the new WamaLTC 3'x5' banner for the Baltimore Road Show.
- I took the six containers for the container swap at BrickFest. There was some discussion about buying more brick so we can make more containers for the next swap. If there are more than six new clubs at the container swap I've been authorized to decide on the spot which six we will trade with. We need more advance notice of these swaps so we can prepare more containers.
